Little San Bernardino Mountains
I walked this section in three solo hikes. In June, 2003 I walked from Onyx Summit to the Cougar Crest Trail. In June, 2005 I walked from the Cougar Crest Trail to Interstate 15. In October, 2005 I walked from Onyx Summit to the trailhead near Interstate 10. The photos are displayed here in south-to-north order.

Parts of this section have seen fires in the past few years.
First Crossing of Deep Creek
This bridge was damaged by fire on the right side (hidden) so I forded the creek. Trail was laid out to enable this easily.
